Dear Resident We are in attendance at a number of incidents of flooding across the county, so we ask that you are mindful of the following safety advice:
Please don't drive through flood water even if you think it isn't that deep.
If you are concerned about your property make sure you turn off electrics and where possible move items to a higher level or second floor.
Do not walk through a flooded area, the flood water can be more powerful than you think.
Keep an eye out for travel and safety advice.
